Isaiah 58:6-11

6Is this not the fast which I choose,
To aloosen the bonds of wickedness,
To undo the bands of the yoke,
And to blet the oppressed go free
And cbreak every yoke?
7“Is it not to ddivide your bread
Lit for
with the hungry
And fbring the homeless poor into the house;
When you see the gnaked, to cover him;
And not to hhide yourself from your own flesh?
8Then your ilight will break out like the dawn,
And your jrecovery will speedily spring forth;
And your krighteousness will go before you;
The glory of the lLord will be your rear guard.
9Then you will mcall, and the Lord will answer;
You will cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am.’
If you nremove the yoke from your midst,
The
Lit sending out
,
ppointing of the finger and qspeaking wickedness,
10And if you
Lit furnish
,
sgive yourself to the hungry
And satisfy the
Or soul
desire of the afflicted,
Then your ulight will rise in darkness
And your gloom will become like midday.
11“And the vLord will continually guide you,
And wsatisfy your
Or soul
desire in scorched places,
And ygive strength to your bones;
And you will be like a zwatered garden,
And like a aaspring of water whose waters do not
Or deceive
